BULGARIA

#2 Kaloyan Kolev

DOB: 05.04.2007

Height: 6’7″

Position: Guard

Kolev stands out with his great positional size, athleticism and ability to attack the rim. He’s a strong rebounder and makes smart reads both ends of the floor.

Daniel Hinkov (2007, F, 6’4″): Solid finisher at the rim who needs to improve his shooting.

Martin Popov (2008, G, 6’2″): Popov shows promising scoring upside thanks to his shooting ability. He’s a hardworking player.

GERMANY

#9 Mathieu Grujicic

DOB: 02.06.2007

Height: 6’5″

Position: Guard

Grujicic is one of the best scorers in Europe. Good shooter, especially in catch&shoot threes. He can create for himself with ease and is thrives in transition. High-IQ player who makes the right reads on both ends. Needs to be more consistent finisher around the rim and improve his AST/TO ratio.

#10 Daniel Biel

DOB: 14.09.2007

Height: 6’5″

Position: Forward

Biel is an athletic forward with a long wingspan. He’s a good rebounder who actively crashes offensive glass. Has active hands on the defensive end. I like his shooting form, though he needs to become more consistent.

#3 Dusan Ilic

DOB: 08.12.2008

Height: 5’11”

Position: Guard

Ilic is one of the youngest prospects in the tournament. He’s a good playmaker with shiftiness and high BBIQ. Can control the tempo and operates pick&roll well. Needs to improve his overall scoring efficiency both finishing at the rim and shooting.

#14 Fynn Lastring

DOB: 11.05.2007

Height: 6’10”

Position: Forward/Center

Lastring is a strech big thanks to his shooting ability. Despite his size, he mostly plays on the perimeter. Great on FTs. I think he needs to be more active on the paint.

#13 Ivan Crnaj

DOB: 10.03.2007

Height: 6’8″

Position: Forward

Crnaj is a reliable 3-point shooter with clean mechanics. Can hit off-balance shots and is strong from the free-throw line. Also a solid rebounder. He was named NBBL Player of the Year.

#5 Jamie Edoka

DOB: 17.01.2008

Height: 6’3″

Position: Guard

Edoka is a dynamic slasher with shiftiness, athleticism and finishing ability. He has strong physical tools, including an impressive 7’0″ wingspan (per Pro Insight). Needs to improve his shooting.

ISRAEL

#44 Aviv Aronov

DOB: 04.04.2008

Height: 6’5″

Position: Guard

Aronov is a key offensive weapon for Israel. He’s a strong finisher at the rim and has promising shooting potential, though he needs more consistency. Also displays decent playmaking skills.

Ari Amiel (2008, 6’2″, G): Shows good scoring potential but needs to be more consistent. Can share the lead guard role with Aronov.

Tamir Gold (2007, C, 6’9″): Good finisher at the rim. Needs to be careful about his foul-prone nature and improve his shooting.

ITALY

#23 Diego Garavaglia

DOB: 04.04.2007

Height: 6’7″

Position: Forward

Garavaglia is one of my favorite prospects in the tournament. He’s true two-way forward who can impact both ends of the floor. One of the best defenders in 2007, transition threat and continues to improve as a shooter.

#22 Achille Lonati

DOB: 22.01.2007

Height: 6’4″

Position: Guard

Lonati has a high feel for the game. Established himself as a reliable scorer through his drives and shooting at both ANGT and FIBA events. While he still needs to improve his consistency from beyond the arc, his shooting potential is really promising.

#25 Mattia Ceccato

DOB: 08.06.2007

Height: 6’5″

Position: Guard

Ceccato is a solid playmaker with good tempo control and court vision. He has upside as a 3-point shooter and is excellent from the FT line.

#9 Patrick Hassan

DOB: 20.01.2007

Height: 6’1″

Position: Guard

Hassan has a good playmaking upside with his court vision. He needs to improve his scoring efficiency, but I liked his shooting flashes at ANGT Belgrade. Excited to monitor his consistency.

#18 Andrea Macri

DOB: 08.03.2007

Height: 6’8″

Position: Center

Macri plays with ambition and energy. He’s a tough competitor who lifts his team’s intensity. Good finisher inside and at the line. Undersized for a center, but has strong rebounding instincts. Needs to develop a shooting game and avoid foul trouble.

#14 Thomas Acunzo

DOB: 28.04.2008

Height: 6’9″

Position: Center

Acunzo is a strong rebounder who actively crashes offensive glass. He’s a good roller and finisher with solid footwork in the paint.

AUSTRIA

#0 Peja Strobl

DOB: 07.02.2007

Height: 6’3″

Position: Guard

Strobl is a good scorer potential with his solid shooting upside and good finishing at the rim. He’s also improving physically. Smart defender who makes the right reads.

FRANCE

#0 Adam Atamna

DOB: 06.12.2007

Height: 6’5″

Position: Guard

Atamna is a 3-level scorer with a great offensive arsenal. Can create for himself effortlessly and his shooting looks really good. Scores and moves like a veteran. Has a high BBIQ. One of the best all-around scorers I’ve seen in the international youth tournaments (ANGE ULM). Also contributes on the defensive end with solid awareness, rebounds well and helps initiate the offense.

#3 Isaac Guedegbe

DOB: 31.12.2007

Height: 5’10”

Position: Guard

Guedegbe is a really fun guard prospect to watch. He can control the pace, is a really good pick&roll operator and passer. Has great court vision with a high BBIQ. Needs to prove his shooting consistency, but looked good at ANGT İstanbul.

#21 Jahel Trefle

DOB: 21.12.2007

Height: 6’9″

Position: Center

Trefle is a tough defender with a strong frame and broad shoulders. Good rebounder and strong rim protector. Has active hands in defense. Good screener and roller in pick&roll actions. Has mid-range touch and runs the floor well for his size. Needs to be more consistent with his finishing around the rim and improve his FTs.

#7 Cameron Houindo

DOB: 10.01.2008

Height: 6’8″

Position: Forward/Center

Houindo is a really dominant at both ends of the floor. He’s a good athlete with a strong frame and broad shoulders. Defensively, shows excellent instincts and timing as a shot-blocker and he’s capable of switching onto guards. Offensively, he has a nice touch around the rim and a promising post game. While he’s not yet a clear shooting threat, his mechanics look good and there’s potential for him to develop a reliable jumper. Needs to improve his FTs.

#1 Hugo Yimga-Moukouri

DOB: 03.07.2008

Height: 6’8″

Position: Forward

Yimga-Moukouri is an intriguing prospect thanks to his two-way ability. He’s an effective rebounder on both ends of the floor and a good finisher around the rim with his drives. Transition threat due to his athleticism. His shooting has improved significantly this year, especially in the mid-range. While he still needs to improve his 3PT shooting, the flashes are promising. Solid defender with a strong frame.

#2 Maxence Lemoine

DOB: 19.06.2007

Height: 6’2″

Position: Guard

Lemoine is an intriguing combo guard prospect with his scoring and playmaking ability. He drives to the rim effectively with his shifty moves and explosiveness, has reliable 3PT and FT shooting threat. He’s a solid playmaker with an impressive AST/TO ratio.

#29 Kaan Onat

DOB: 08.04.2007

Height: 6’5″

Position: Guard

Kaan enters the tournament as a 2024 U17 World Cup All-Star Five member. Strong driver who can create his own shot and has a solid mid-range jumper. Smart playmaker with strong court vision and operates pick&roll well. While I have some concerns about his shooting mechanics, he continues to improve as a 3-point shooter. Helps on the boards and pushes transition. Needs to be more focused defensively and improve his FT shooting.

#10 Cengiz Sarp Coşkun

DOB: 23.04.2007

Height: 6’4″

Position: Guard

Sarp is a shifty guard with smooth movement and tight handles. Plays at his own pace, drives effectively and has solid 3PT shooting upside. Valuable transition threat and a defender with quick hands.

#2 Rezon Elezay

DOB: 22.05.2007

Height: 7’1″

Position: Center

Rezon is a physically gifted big man with great length. Offers rim protection and is a lob threat offensively. Shows promising touch around the basket and mid-range shooting upside. He needs to be careful about his foul-prone nature, build strength and improve post-up game.

#13 Yavuz Selim Kara

DOB: 25.03.2007

Height: 6’8″

Position: Forward

Yavuz has a strong rebound instincts. Tough defender with good size. Contributes in stocks with his activity. Strech four potential, but needs to become a more consistent shooter from three. Needs to be careful about easy turnovers as well.

#12 Mert Kocagözoğlu

DOB: 10.09.2007

Height: 6’6″

Position: Guard/Forward

Mert has a good shooting upside, needs to be consistent from three. Shows off some nice playmaking ability. Solid defender. 3&D wing potential and can be a ball handler if the team needs it.

#0 Anıl Alyanak

DOB: 07.01.2008

Height: 6’8″

Position: Forward

Anıl is a versatile player who always fills up the stat sheet. He has good post moves and solid footwork. Can play coast-to-coast after the rebound. Strong rebounder. Has active hands on the defensive end and contributes well to stocks. Needs to improve his overall scoring efficiency — rim finishing, 3PT and FT shooting.

#34 Yalın Yıldız

DOB: 31.01.2008

Height: 6’1″

Position: Guard

Yalın plays with great maturity for his age.. He’s a solid playmaking upside, reliable catch&shoot threat and possesses strong defensive instincts with active hands. He attacks the rim confidently, finishing through contact and uses fakes effectively to create space for himself. Needs to be a more consistent shooter.

GREECE

#6 Nikolas Sermpezis

DOB: 03.05.2007

Height: 6’5″

Position: Guard

Sermpezis stands out with his strong drives and ability to generate transition offense. Solid finisher at the rim. Needs to work on his outside shooting.

#7 Vasileios Kazamias

DOB: 10.03.2007

Height: 6’6″

Position: Guard

Kazamias has great positional size and attacks the rim effectively with crafty moves. Smart player and has solid court vision. Knows how to draw foul, but needs to be more consistent as both FT and 3PT shooter.

LITHUANIA

#5 Mantas Liutkevicius

DOB: 11.03.2007

Height: 6’0″

Position: Guard

Liutkevicius is a smart playmaker who reads the game well and controls the tempo. Drives confidently and is solid at the FT line. Needs to improve his shooting.

#11 Arturas Butajevas

DOB: 27.03.2007

Height: 6’9″

Position: Forward/Center

Butajevas is a dominant rebounder who consistently crashes offensive glass. He has soft touch around the rim and can also stretch the floor with 3PT shooting.

#14 Gabrielius Bubnys

DOB: 02.04.2007

Height: 6’7″

Position: Forward

Bubnys is a reliable 3PT shooter and a strong transition threat thanks to his athleticism. He’s also a dominant rebounder and brings efficient offense to his team.

#16 Ignas Urbonas

DOB: 22.11.2007

Height: 6’6″

Position: Forward

Urbonas is a highly efficient finisher at the rim. He uses his strong frame and “bully ball” mentality to attack the basket, especially in transition. Needs to improve his shooting.

#24 Dovydas Buika

DOB: 03.01.2007

Height: 6’6″

Position: Guard/Forward

Buika is a 3-level scorer with natural scoring instincts. He can create his own shot and shows flashes of playmaking. All-around wing prospect.

#1 Nikola Janichikj

Height: 6’5″

Position: Guard/Forward

Janichikj has strong scoring potential with his reliable 3PT shooting. He recently won the 3-Point Contest at the BWB Global Camp. One of the leading candidates to top the tournament in scoring.

SERBIA

#1 Jovan Bikic

DOB: 15.01.2008

Height: 6’7″

Position: Guard

Bikic is an all-around guard with a high feel for the game. He has a reliable shooting upside, can create his own shot with ease and drives to the rim effectively. Helps the rebound and has solid playmaking vision.

#8 Ognjen Srzentic

DOB: 18.03.2007

Height: 6’7″

Position: Guard/Forward

Srzentic makes basketball look easy and consistently makes the right decisions. Versatile player with an excellent offensive arsenal: drives well to the rim, can create his shot, can control the tempo, good court vision… He has a great size for a wing and uses his wingspan well on defense.

#13 Stefan Marjanovic

DOB: 04.09.2007

Height: 6’11”

Position: Center

Marjanovic is a stretch-big prospect with shooting ability. Shows promising defensive instincts and active hands. Needs to improve his FT shooting.

#15 Pavle Backo

DOB: 11.07.2007

Height: 6’11”

Position: Center

Backo is an intriguing big man prospect with good post-up skills and high BBIQ. His footwork in the low post is fluid and he’s a powerful dunker. Tough defender with great size. Not the most athletic, but shows surprising quickness in tight spaces.

#17 Lazar Stojkovic

DOB: 22.10.2007

Height: 6’10”

Position: Forward/Center

Stojkovic is a high-IQ big with playmaking ability. He caught my attention at ANGT Belgrade with his rim protection and feel for the game. Needs to develop a consistent jumper.

BELGIUM

#7 Daan Pieters

DOB: 09.06.2007

Height: 6’5″

Position: Guard

Pieters is a strong scorer thanks to his aggressive drives, ability to finish through contact, off-ball movement and shooting touch. Also has promising playmaking tools.

#8 Jayden Hodge

DOB: 30.04.2007

Height: 6’6″

Position: Forward

Hodge is an athletic forward with a high motor. Finishes well at the rim, has a solid post-up game and moves well without the ball. Needs to improve his shooting.

#10 Tim Waerniers

DOB: 29.07.2007

Height: 6’8″

Position: Forward

Waerniers is an athletic finisher with good size and promising shooting upside. Needs to refine his ball-handling skills.

#20 Aaron Ona Embo

DOB: 14.04.2009

Height: 5’11”

Position: Guard

Ona Embo is one of the youngest prospects at the tournament. He compensates for his size disadvantage with his 3PT shooting and playmaking. Smart player who makes right reads on both ends of the floor.

Lars Coppejans (2007, F, 6’6’’): Solid shooter who needs to improve his finishing inside.

LATVIA

#15 Adrians Andzevs

DOB: 23.02.2007

Height: 6’4″

Position: Guard

Andzevs is a strong combo guard prospect. Attacks the rim with shiftiness and tight handles, can control the pace and runs the pick&roll effectively. Needs to become a more consistent shooter.

#22 Tomas Talcis

DOB: 22.09.2007

Height: 6’6″

Position: Forward

Talcis is an efficient finisher around the rim. Possesses good size and a long wingspan for a wing. Active on the offensive glass. Needs to improve his shooting consistency.

SLOVENIA

#6 Stefan Joksimovic

DOB: 16.11.2008

Height: 6’7″

Position: Guard

Joksimovic has a great positional size. He has a good court vision, solid 3PT shooting upside – still not consistent – and drives to the rim well. Helps on the boards and contributes in transition.

#7 Ian Lazarevski

DOB: 30.03.2007

Height: 6’8″

Position: Guard/Forward

Lazarevski is a versatile wing who finishes well at the rim and handles the ball in pick&rolls. Displays playmaking ability and has promising shooting mechanics but needs more consistency.

#12 Mark Morano Mahmutovic

DOB: 05.02.2007

Height: 6’6″

Position: Guard/Forward

Mahmutovic is an excellent 3-level scorer prospect thanks to his reliable 3PT shooting threat, effectively attacks the rim and shot-creation. Had a strong showing in preparation games.

SPAIN

#12 Ignacio Campoy

DOB: 03.12.2007

Height: 6’8″

Position: Forward

Campoy is a glue guy who fits well on any team. He’s a relentless competitor, has high feel for the game, dominant rebounder who actively crashes offensive glass and effective finisher at the rim. Needs to improve his shooting.

#16 Ian Platteeuw

DOB: 03.11.2007

Height: 7’0″

Position: Center

Ian is a highly skilled big man thanks to his feel for the game, high BBIQ, playmaking ability and excellent rebounding instincts. He has solid footwork in the post, but he’ll need to keep improving his finishing around the rim and FT shooting.

#10 Gildas Gimenez

DOB: 12.01.2007

Height: 6’7″

Position: Forward

Gimenez is a intriguing two-way prospect. He is a versatile defender who can guard multiple positions and always has active hands. Drives well to the rim. He needs to improve his 3PT shooting.

#15 Diego Niebla

DOB: 18.01.2008

Height: 6’8″

Position: Forward

Niebla is a strong scoring prospect with aggressive drives, solid footwork for his size and promising 3PT range.

#4 Raul Villar

DOB: 13.10.2007

Height: 6’4″

Position: Guard

Villar is a good playmaker potential who enters the Barcelona rotation this year. He’s a crafty guard with a reliable 3PT shooting upside.

Guillermo Del Pino (2007, G, 6’5″): Combo guard with good scoring and playmaking upside.
